We engaged Active Bugs to moderate our first team building event from July 5 – 8, 2025 at Adeline Villa in Gopeng, Perak. Being the first team building event, everyone went with a fresh mindset not knowing what to expect. The venue recommended by Active Bugs was exceptional with very good reviews by all participants.
Working with Active Bugs led by Justin and his team was nothing short of exceptional! From the very first interaction to the final closing at the end of our event, their team brought energy, creativity, and flawless execution. The activities were thoughtfully designed to bring our team closer together, boost morale, and uncover hidden talents we never knew existed!
Their energy was infectious, their facilitation seamless and their ability to bring people out of their shells truly impressive. Whether it was racing through obstacle challenges or solving puzzles that had us laughing and thinking in equal measure, every moment was impactful.
We came back not only with stronger team dynamics but unforgettable memories. They created a safe space for everyone to participate, laugh and genuinely connect with activities that struck the perfect balance between fun and meaningful reflection.

We engaged with Active Bugs for our company team building event, facilitated by Justin. He and his team were exceptional. My colleagues and I gained valuable insights from the experiential learning activities led by Justin and his team.
The two-days teambuilding event was packed with exciting activities. Among them, the Marshmallow Challenge, Blind Colour Test, and Helium Pipe stood out as particularly meaningful and thought-provoking.
Have you ever imagined building a tall structure using only thin, fragile spaghetti? It sounded crazy, but the Marshmallow Challenge taught us that nothing is impossible. In the Blind Colour Test, we were blindfolded and had to identify the shapes and colors of missing pieces. This game truly tested my patience, Justin! Haha. It emphasised the importance of communication, cooperation, and simplifying processes despite obstacles. We learned that by working together, we could achieve our goals.
The Helium Pipe game was the highlight of the day. As a group, we had to lower a pipe, but it kept rising instead. I suspect Justin hid something inside the pipe to make it behave that way! Hahaha. This activity demonstrated that while everyone can be a leader, not everyone can effectively lead. Eventually, a leader emerged to guide us to success.
Overall, the team building event was incredibly fruitful and insightful. Kudos to the Active Bugs team! Looking forward to work with Active Bugs for our next team building.
The CCM team building event which was facilitated by Active Bugs had conveyed valuable and meaningful learnings packed over the course of 2 days. The various sessions managed to successfully break down the complexities and realities of corporate management into simple and easily understood concepts. And all this was done through a series of engaging and fun activities!
Not only that, the sessions also brought us closer in understanding our own limitations and constraints, and how best to overcome them while working as a team in an organisation.

The Swiss Cooperation Office for the Mekong Region in Vientiane, a branch of the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SOC) , mandated Active Bugs for a two-day teambuilding workshop in October 2018.
As a team, we benefited in an exceptional manner from the input provided to us by means of teambuilding-activities, feedback and reflection phases. Active Bugs proved to be a highly motivating and enthusiastic facilitator. We appreciated its professionalism and ability to get every team member participating actively while, at the same time, making him/her feel comfortable. The Facilitator thus brought out the best of everyone, to the extent that also unknown individual and teamwork competencies became visible.

We engaged Justin and the team at Active Bugs to host our annual company retreat in Kuala Lumpur. From the first engagement, it was clear Active Bugs were a very professional outfit and were constantly engaged throughout the planning phase.
